Rotary vane compressor, also known as scraper compressor, which is a type of rotary compressor. The cylinder of the rotary vane compressor has two types: round and oval. In a rotary vane compressor with a circular cylinder, off-center distance of the main axis of the rotor and the center of the cylinder makes the rotor close to the air inlet and outlet on the inner surface of the cylinder. In a rotary vane compressor with a oval cylinder, the main axis of the rotor coincides with the geometric center of the ellipse, and the rotor is close to the inner surface of the two short axes of the ellipse. In this way, the contact between the rotor blades and the main axis divides the cylinder into several spaces. When the main shaft drives the rotor to rotate one cycle, the volume of these spaces will expand, shrink, and return to zero. Correspondingly, the refrigerant vapor in these spaces circulates inhalation and exhaust.
In a rotary vane compressor with a circular cylinder, the impeller is installed eccentrically, and the outer circle of the impeller is closely attached between the intake and exhaust holes on the inner surface of the cylinder. In an elliptical cylinder, the main axis of the rotor coincides with the center of the ellipse. The blades on the rotor and the contact line between them divide the cylinder into several spaces. When the main axis drives the rotor to rotate for one cycle, the volume of these spaces undergoes a cyclical change of "expanding, shrinking, and almost zero", the refrigerant vapor in these spaces also undergoes a cycle of suction-compression-exhaust. The compressed gas is discharged through the reed valve. The rotary vane compressor has no intake valve, and the sliding vane can complete the task of sucking and compressing refrigerant. For a circular cylinder, the two blades divide the cylinder into two spaces. The main shaft rotates one cycle, there are two exhaust processes, and the four blades have four times. The more blades, the smaller the exhaust pulse of the compressor. For an elliptical cylinder, four blades divide the cylinder into four spaces. The main axis rotates one cycle and there are four exhaust processes. Because the exhaust valve is designed close to the contact line, there is almost no clearance volume in the rotary vane compressor.
